PLO Directive to Media: Do Not Use Term "Temple Mount"

For years now, Palestinians and Muslims have been attempting to erase the perception among the public of Jewish connection to the Temple Mount and to Jerusalem. Their latest attempt involves a directive from the PLO National Affairs Department to journalists directing all international media to desist from using the term "Temple Mount" and replace it instead with the term "Al Aqsa Compound":

All international media representatives are advised to adhere to international law and correct any other existing terminology used. The Al-Aqsa Mosque compound is not a disputed territory and all other terms, therefore, are null and void.

It remains to be seen which international media outlets will dutifully follow these marching orders.

The New York Times reported on 6 November 2014 that “Mohammad al-Momani, the Jordanian government spokesman, said Israel must maintain the status quo and not allow “extremists? into the compound to “practice religious practices that are provocative to Muslims.??

That's very limiting; everything is provocative to Muslims. I believe that the Temple Mount is the accurate name of the place as it was first a holy space in Judaism. Of course, I want Hagia Sophia returned to the Orthodox Church as well.

Mickey Segal you mean the Jordan that has a law barring Jews from living in Jordan.
No Jews live in Jordan.
The same Jordan that kicked out all the Jews from East Jerusalem from 48 to 67, burned 58 temples and had Arabs urinating on the Wailing Wall during those 19 years.

Hagia Sophia, indeed, Nan. I want Constantinople back.

We need clarification as to whether the Egyptian terrorist group that has just aligned with the Islamic State is covered by this policy. The group is called Ansar Bait al-Maqdis, often translated as Supporters of Jerusalem, which seems to be an explicit reference to what is referred to in the bible as Beit HaMikdash. Do they need to change their name to Ansar Al Quds?

Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised in the city of our God,
In the mountaun of His Holiness.
Psa!m 48:1 written 1000 BC equals over 3000 years ago
Even Jesus over 2000 yrs ago sat in a Temple on this temple mount
and another Temple will indeed be built then He Jesus will return again.
