ISM (and Mondoweiss) Demonstrate How to Propagandize with YouTube

The Palestinian-led International Solidarity Movement (ISM) which sends foreigners to Palestinian areas to interfere with Israeli counter-terrorism activities and is behind the illegal flotilla efforts, and whose mission statement "recognize(s) the Palestinian right to resist Israeli violence and occupation via legitimate armed struggle" features a ridiculously crude YouTube propaganda film on their website homepage. The film is also posted on the radically anti-Israel Mondoweiss site.

While the description posted on YouTube describes the film as showing two protesters injured with live ammunition, nothing of the sort is seen on film. Propagandists bank on the fact that many people just read the brief description without bothering to view the entire film. Pay attention to 1:17 -2:10 to see a blatant example of Pallywood at its worst. What's so perplexing is that despite the obviousness of the deception, anti-Israel propagandists feature this on their websites as an example of Israeli brutality.

.

Pay particular attention to minutes 1:17-2:10.

Boy that guy's a bigger diver (and worse actor) than most of the Italian World Cup squad - he's got a future in football!

What a joke. The guy acts like his leg is broken from being pushed by an Israeli soldier, but when the cloud from a tear gas cannister is blown his way by the wind, he hops up and moves across a boulder-strewn field without much difficulty.

And his cries of pain are frankly unbelievable. He sounds like someone trying to mimic the old woman in that "I've fallen and can't get up!" Commerical.

It's so fake, it's laughable.

Just how stupid do these people think we are?

Pretty darn stupid, apparently.

It's not so much that the vilest base of the pro-Palestinian crowd (which would include both ISM and Mondoweiss) thinks we're stupid. It's that they think they're absolutely right about all of their beliefs and cannot comprehend that A) they might be completely wrong very often, and very often completely wrong and B) the entire world doesn't support every damn idea of theirs. To use a pop culture analogy, they're like that Russell guy on SURVIVOR, who was shocked to reach two straight Final Juries only to get demolished each time, because he could not comprehend that people viewed him as an obnoxious asshole who they didn't want to give a million dollars to. Like ISM/Mondoweiss, Russell thought he was an exemplar of awesome and right. And like them, he was wrong.
