Muslim Student Supports Gathering Jews in Israel to Murder Them

During an exchange following a speech by David Horowitz at the University of California in San Diego, a member of the Muslim Student Association, when questioned whether she supported Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah's stated desire to gather all the Jews in Israel in order to facilitate murdering them, responded that she was "For it."

The student had initially posed a question to veteran political activist Horowitz, to which Horowitz responded by saying,

I'm a Jew. The head of Hezbollah has said that he hopes that we [Jews] will gather in Israel so he doesn't have to hunt us down globally. For or against it?

The student responded,

For it.

If one wonders what sort of environment fosters such banal hatred, consider this response from a commenter named A. Casavantes who claims to be her teacher at the university. A. Casavantes writes,

This girl is actually my student; I know her to be an intelligent, moral young woman who believes in peace. I do not support any organization that advocates violence against any specific group, nor do I believe that my student would do so. As a peace loving, Catholic teacher, I'm saddened that this speaker--her elder--manipulated the conversation in this fashion to make her look like someone she isn't, out of an egotistical desire to prove his own point, rather than engaging in a constructive dialogue. A perfect example of why the peace process is limping foward so painfully.

Apparently in the moral universe inhabited by A. Casavantes, people who unflinchingly assert they support the mass murder of Jews should be engaged in constructive dialogue, while those who expose their views deserve criticism.

A. Casavantes is actually a Ph.D. student in the U.S. history department at UCSD and a former high school teacher

Anita Casavantes Bradford

A little more surfing and you can find Casavantes quotes inflaming racist protests after the noose that was hung by a black student in the library there in February. Do I sense a pattern here?

Looks like her advisor, Luis Alvarez, is cut from similar cloth.

Students should demand that A. Casavantes be expelled for misrepresenting her position and presenting an incompetent defense of positions at a public forum and thereby besmirching the good name of the U.S. history department at UCSDC

Here is an email that I sent the Professor today:

Do you actually think your student was forced to agree to the extermination of Jews??? Your student was out of line and proved who she is and what she believes. Twist it and turn it all you want. But the video speaks for itself... or should I say, your student speaks for herself.

Horowitz: Okay, I’ll put it to you this way. I am a Jew. The head of Hezbollah has said that he hopes that we will gather in Israel so he doesn’t have to hunt us down globally. For or Against it?

MSA member: For it.

But what is even more chilling is that you were the one who rallied against the "Compton Cookout" themed party.

“This shows it isn’t an isolated incident, but a community problem that needs to be addressed,? said Anita Casavantes Bradford, UCSD history professor.

But where the hell are you when a student cries for the extermination of Jews??? Where is the rally? Where is the student body this time with cards asking us to "love another"? Where is the Chancellor this time condeming such hateful speech?

You sersiouly can not see the hypocrisy here? Seriously? Seriously? Your student is not peaceful. She is not loving. She had time to consider her thoughts. She was given an easy question to answer. She spoke. She proved that she is a jew hater and a racist.

Show me I'm wrong. Show me that this young lady did not say those things. Show me that you really aren't a hyprocrite. Show me that you aren't blinded by your liberalism.
