Hamas has claimed victory in Palestinian parliamentary elections. While some media outlets have attempted to cover up Hamas's continued rejectionism (see details here), other analysts point out that political power does not necessarily lead to moderation (see, for example, here.)

Hamas leader Mahoud Zahar, who said last week: "We do not recognize the Israeli enemy, nor his right to be our neighbor..."

Why did President Bush, supposedly waging a war against terrorism, ignore those of us who warned him Fatah remained a terrorist organization, and that Fatah would lose out to Hamas, another terrorist organization?
